1983 Trojan 40 Motor Yacht
Yacht price :
Overview
"Flossie IV" is a spacious, economical motor yacht that would be an excellent #greatloop prospect. Come take a look at the very affordable Cruiser!
The 40 Trojan Motor Yacht was way ahead of her time in design and function. Designed with by Jim Wynne with a "Dual Mode" hull - The 40 Trojan Motor Yacht is capable of economical operation at displacement speeds along with planing performance. The 40 Motor Yacht was Trojan's response to the fuel uncertainties of the late 70's. The hull form has a slight hump forward on the underbody with wide 8 inch chine flats for lift. The relatively long waterline length results in an expansive interior floorplan. The salon measures a full 10'x13' and is separated from the Galley by a convenient serving bar. Teak paneling and trim were used throughout the interior. Outside the styling is clean and attractive. The popular GM 6-71N's rated at 310 HP by Johnson and Towers burn 7-8 Gallons per hour at an 8 knot displacement speed.
