Interior Layout
The Hatteras 70 Sport Deck (1995-1997) shares the same layout with the Hatteras 65 Motor Yacht with the addition of a Eurostyle swim platform. The transom incorporates an aft platform that Hatteras called a Sport Deck accessed via curved steps from the aft deck. Her wide body light ash interior offers four staterooms below and a vast main salon with dining area and built-in entertainment center. The full-beam master stateroom, reached from a spiral staircase in the salon, features a centerline king bed, walk-in closet, and his-and-hers baths with Jacuzzi tub/shower.
The amidships VIP stateroom has a walkaround queen bed and private bath with Whirlpool tub. The forward guest stateroom also has a queen bed. Crew quarters with over/under bunks are located on the port side lower level, forward of the VIP stateroom and aft of the guest stateroom. Note the laundry center in the companionway.
Additional features include port/starboard pilothouse doors, large U-shaped galley with Granite counters, four-person dinette, and a spacious flybridge with room for a small crowd.
