From: THE POWERBOAT GUIDE  There are boats that have been with us for so long,and are so popular that they have attained classic status. The GrandBanks 36 is such a boat. She was the first model in the Grand Banks
fleet, and over 1,200 were built during her production. A semi-displacement
hull with a long keel, hard chines and a deep forefoot provide the
stability that won the 36 a reputation for seaworthiness seldom
matched by other boats in her class. Several twin-stateroom
interiors were offered over the years, all finished with handcrafted
teak woodwork and all incorporating the very best in workmanship,
hardware and materials. Topside, raised bulwarks provide security
to the walkaround decks, and there's room for a dinghy on the aft
cabin top. Notable features include teak decks, functional mast and
boom, and a spacious flybridge. Note the cockpit door in the aft
stateroom.

Large V- berth with filler cushion forward, generous drawer and locker storage, two opening windows and opening hatch with screen overhead. Head to starboard with vanity, sink, manual toilet and hand held shower. Up four steps to the saloon with lower helm to starboard, door to side deck, wet bar, L-shaped settee with drop leaf table aft and straight settee directly across the cabin to port. Galley is up to port directly across from the lower helm. Down four steps to the master stateroom with double berth to starboard and single berth to port, generous drawer and locker storage and opening windows. A fold-up ladder leads aft to a door to the aft deck. Head to starboard with vanity, sink, electric toilet and hand held shower. Her warm teak trimmed interior is in remarkable condition and has not been altered by previous owners.
