OverviewThe Eagle 53 Pilothouse "Pura Vida" is a blend of traditional design,
comfortable accommodations, and a modern semidisplacement
hull capable of efficient cruising speeds. Like all
Eagles, this 53 is built in Taiwan by Transpacific Marine, a well regarded
manufacturer with many years of yachting experience.
This is a classic pilothouse design with a Portuguese bridge and
covered decks, and her cruise-worthy hull incorporates hard aft
chines and an extended keel for increased stability. The full teak
interior of the Eagle 53 is notable for its comfortable layout and
generous storage. A large U-shaped galley is forward in the salon,
and the pilothouse four steps up from the salon level includes
an L-shaped settee, direct bridge access, deck doors, and a
centerline helm. "Pura Vida's" layout offers three staterooms
on the lower level, and two heads with stall showers.
Additional features include wide, well-secured side
decks, a spacious flybridge with seating for six, an extended swim
platform, cored hullsides, and a radar arch. There is a Zodiac tender w/ outboard and a davit on the aft end of the top deck. Bridge clearance is 18' mast up and 14' mast down.
"Pura Vida" is a one owner boat!
