Descriptions
From: The Powerboat GuideThe Grand Banks 46 Classic ranks among the finest cruising
yachts ever produced. With her timeless trawler profile,
seakindly hull, and elegant teak interior the 46 Classic has defined
cruising luxury since her introduction in 1985. The three-stateroom, Galley
Up floorplan was standard. The large owner's aft cabin is designed with a
walkaround queen-sized bed and direct cockpit access. With her
spacious salon and comfortable staterooms, the 46 offers plenty of
interior space yet remains easily manageable by a crew of two. Like
all Grand Banks models, the 46 Classic was built to high productions
standards. The teak joinery is flawless; the mechanical systems are
first-rate; hull finish is mirror-smooth.
Full walkaround decks and a teak aft cockpit allow
the crew safe, secure movement while at sea and during docking.
The large engine room has over five feet of headroom. Twin Cat
diesels deliver a top speed of 18-20 knots.
