Overview The Mainship Pilot 34 Sedan has the seakeeping abilities of the lobster boats it evolved from. It has a steep plumb bow and a gentle rise of the sheer; both of these qualities give the Pilot the ability to cut through head seas, while the rounded forward hull sections provide a soft entry. The flatter sections aft increase lift for speed and economy, and the deep full keel provides added directional stability and protection for the propeller. In the wheelhouse, with a tilt-up helm console which provides easy access to electronics and wiring, there are double-wide helm and companion seats, large side lounges, with removable backrests, that can double as berths. The large hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch provides easy access to the engine and generator and there is plenty of room on either side of the engine to access all components for service. The cockpit has good storage as well as a walk-through transom door. Below, the cabin has a large head complete with Corian covered vanity, lots of storage, a shower, and even an electric flush head. The cherry-trimmed galley offers plenty of storage, ample Corian counter space, a microwave, a dual cooktop, and a refrigerator and freezer. There is even a slide-out pantry for convenience. The large dinette easily converts to a double berth (with the table installed) and includes plenty of storage. A color flat screen TV is easily viewed from the galley or dinette. Forward in the stateroom, hanging lockers and drawers will store gear for the weekend or a month. There is a full filler for the V-berths, and the berths are long enough for a tall person!
