"True North" is perhaps the nicest 53 Hatteras "ED" that we have been aboard in a long time. She has been shed kept year 'round on the Upper Chesapeake Bay for the last 20+ years.  Always beautifully maintained - with lots of very nice recent upgrades. Accommodations

"ARIEL" is a very original 53 ED which includes an open bulkhead from the pilothouse aft for greatly improved visibility from the lower helm.

The afromosia/teak interior woodwork is unmolested and in remarkable condition. The full beam saloon deckhouse is furnished with a leather sofa,  and an accent chair with an ottoman, a custom TV cabinet that raises and lowers. There is a built in wet bar forward with a sink, beverage cooler, entertainment equipment, and beautiful cabinetry. Valences, pleated shades, end panel draperies, furniture and Karastan carpeting are all new within the last 2 years.

The pilothouse has port and starboard sliding doors, "Haddon Hall" teak parquet flooring and the ladder up to the flybridge. The bench helmseat is recently reupholstered.

The newly refit galley retains the booth style dinette, Magic Chef electric range cooktop and eye level microwave convection oven. Refrigerator/Freezer is a recent Samsung. Countertops are new solid surface material with a Ruvati stainless steel sink and new faucet. Stacked washer/dryer is in the forward stateroom.

Forward guest stateroom has upper and lower single berths and an ensuite head with a stall shower. Mid guest stateroom has twin berths. Recently re-fit mid guest head has a custom stall shower enclosure. Master stateroom aft with a centerline queen berth, double closet and a lighted vanity area. Ensuite master head has a custom stall shower enclosure.  The mid and aft head refit incluides custom shower doors, countertops, sink faucets, shower plumbing, flooring, towel bars, mirrored cabinet doors, and wallpaper.
